Former NATO commander for Europe, Wesley Clark, declared that some
persons from the Serbian government have known where Ratko Mladic was hiding.

In an interview for a daily Bosnian newspaper, Clark underlined that EU had clearly told Serbia that bringing Mladic to justice was very significant.

“The action file of Mladic is the file of a criminal, not of a general. He was a ruthless murderer, and he showed this in the most negative way with the Srebrenica massacre”, Clark declared.

The US General added that in the period 1993-1994, US ambassador Charles Redman had prepared a peace plan for Bosnia, but it was refused by Serbs with Ratko Mladic in the lead.
