Central Election Commission approved with only four votes of simple
majority the summary table for the Tirana Municipal Council, which
gives the majority to the ruling alliance.
The “Alliance for the Citizen” has 28 councilors, while the “Alliance for the Future” has one less.
The approval was made after harsh debates between SP legal representatives and Chairman Arben Ristani.
SP representative, Eridian Salianji, declared during the meeting that the material that was presented does not reflect the changes that were made to the summary tables, and that the number of ballots that was written on the report does not match with the ballots found in the boxes.
