Arben Ristan, Chairman of the Central Election Commission, declared that
until noon, 21.89% of the population all over Albania has participated
in the voting process.
During a press conference, Ristani notified that eight voting centers all over Albania have not opened.
Ristani said that if the closure of these voting centers will affect the final result, the voting process in these areas will be repeated.
Some minutes later, Artan Laze, member of the Election Commission, declared for Top-Channel that the incident with Top-Channel’s camera crew being attacked in the “Student’s Town” was a very grave one.
Laze explained that in a national scale, there have not been other incidents. As for the finger-ink, part of the voting process security measures, he declared that this substance needs three minutes to get completely dried.
