Cakaj with his Algerian counterpart: Algeria must recognize Kosovo

The acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, is attending the fourth Union for the Mediterranean.

Cakaj has met with the General Secretary of the Union, Nasser Kamel, and the Algerian Foreign Minister, Sabri Boukadoum.

During the meeting with the Union’s General Secretary, both parties expressed their readiness for further cooperation in the projects of the Union for the Mediterranean.

One of the main topics at this meeting was reming to the participating countries that have not recognized Kosovo yet that this reality should be accepted the soonest as possible, and there should be support from all international initiatives.
