The Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir BUshati, thanked the Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Socialist Party for trusting him with the Albanian diplomacy in a press release held with his Italian counterpart, and the last one as Minister.
Bushati said that it was Ramas’ decision to change the political direction of the Foreign Ministry, but he appealed that the transition should be completed the soonest possible, due to the many developments in the international arena.
“It has been an honor and a privilege for me to represent my country in the international arena, and for this I want to thank Prime Minister Rama and the political force that I represent. At the same time, I want to thank the entire team of the foreign service, who have accompanied me to achieve some of the most important objectives of Albania’s foreign policy”, Bushati said.
