Bushati reacts after yesterday’s funeral in Bularat

The Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati, reacted to the images that came yesterday from Bularat, during the funeral of Katsifa, the Greek extremist who died in a shootout with the Albanian forces, after having attacked an Albanian police patrol.
Quoting a famous expression of the former British Prime Minister, Benjamin Disraeli, Bushati explained the stance of the Albanian authority: “Circumstances are beyond human control, but our conduct is in our own power. As politicians, we are only judged by our actions to drive and tame circumstances.”, he said.
Katsifa was buried yesterday in Bularat as many Greek nationalists who had entered Albania for the funeral were chanting anti-Albanian songs.
Both Prime Ministers, Rama and Tsipras, have condemned the behavior, demanded calm and underlined that this situation will not affect the good relations between both states.
