In their second day of strike, the representatives of Bulqize miners say
that the concessionary company ACR threatened the workers that if they
will not return to their working places, they will close the mines for
several months.
Luan Nuka, leader of the strike, said that the administrators asked the workers to return to their working places.
The strikers say that they will not back off, and that they will also hold another protest in the center of the city. Syndication leaders presented their requests another time.
The miners interrupted their work this Monday, as a protest against the failure of the negotiations for some demands that regard their safety and wage increase.
Workers of steel factories in Burrel and Elbasan promised to join the strike.
