Road infrastructure will continue to be a main priority for the
government of Prime Minister Sali Berisha, who tries to show the
significance of infrastructure development by participating even in the
inauguration ceremonies of short segments.

Although it is only 7 kilometers long, the road that connects Balsh with Aranitas Commune, according to the Prime Minister, is a segment that shows the efforts of the government for urbanizing all rural areas of the country and for securing a stable development.

“We are sure that the new roads that are being built, bring with them development of the respective areas, increase property values wherever they pass across, and also shorten and save time, which is the most precious asset for every citizen of this country; roads help the markets and make production transportation more easy. But good roads are also dignity, are indispensable for making the citizens of this country travel on roads that are equal to those of European countries”, Berisha declared.

With the residents of Aranitas commune, in Mallakastra, the Albanian Prime Minister raised as very important the plans for developing and planting olives and fruit trees.

“The capacity of your district for growing olive trees is at least five times bigger than what exists today. Therefore, I appeal all of you to plant olive trees with ambition and great love. I guarantee you that the government will finance every young tree that will be planted. In every financing and projects, we must see to plant fruit trees as one of the safest mechanisms for leaving behind, once and for all, the undeserved poverty that you have experienced, as the safest road to compete the big European market”, Berisha underlined.

The head of the Albanian government guaranteed the local leaders that the government will support and will finance every project that improves the life of the Albanian citizens in rural and urban areas.
