Berisha: Reforms, our government’s motto

Prime Minister Berisha spoke about the public administration on a press
conference, declaring that reforms in this sector are a priority.

According to the Prime Minister, this is the only way that will make the Albanian administration able to confront current challenges.

“The administrative reform is a very important issue. The public administration has a very important mission and can fulfill it by accepting to be constantly reformed. The reformation of the public administration, its preparation for facing the challenges of this world, remains constant”, Berisha confirmed.

According to him, the administration has made strong progresses in the last years, thanks to the reforms that his government has realized.

“The Albanian public administration, by implementing all the policies, has made radical reforms in this country. This administration has a new horizon and is staying on a new level”, Berisha underlined.

The head of the government declared that through the reforms they have been able to recover the Albanian economy, which used to be one of most failed in Europe.

“From a country that was inconsiderable for business, where corruption had turned into the system, where crime made the law, thanks to these reforms, our country is ranked as one of the best economies”, Berisha declared.

“Albania is the only country that did not suffer recession, the country that established the greatest transparency in public procurements and in the system of investment inspections. An ensemble of reforms that have made the Albanian economy to avoid recession”, he added.

The Prime Minister further added that the reforms have been visible in other areas too, such as education and the judicial system.

“The reforms will be the motto of this government”, Berisha added.
