Berisha: Rama offers no alternative

Although the Electoral Campaign has not officially been launched, Prime Minister Sali Berisha started the inauguration tours, promising to increase investments and improve the life of the Albanian people, regardless of where they live.

The picturesque Daias village in Petrela commune, where a new school and road were built with 52 million leks of government funds, Prime Minister Berisha said that the government has financed projects so that every village has the infrastructure of a city.

According to Prime Minister Berisha, the 36 kilometers of new roads, paved during the last five years in the Petrela Commune only, Tirana’s outskirts, are an example to be compared with the alternative offered by the opposition, which, according to Berisha, serves only to their leader’s interest.

“Let us ask comrade Edvin Rama. What does he offer? Which is your alternative? His alternative is: “It is Berisha’s fault”. Then I will tell him that Berisha’s fault will become high as the Dajti Mountain, because I will build roads, I will build schools, I will subsidize olive groves, and I will build canalizations. These are what he calls ‘faults’”, Berisha explained.

Reminding the Democratic Party slogan for this election campaign, “You come first”, Berisha promised that the government will keep spending the state’s budget money with cautiousness and on the citizens’ behalf.

“We are determined to transform all of your taxes into roads, canalizations, schools, olive groves, health centers. This is our policy and we stand to it. This is why I invite you to calmly judge and value the alternatives, and vote what works best for you”, Berisha emphasized.
