After a political period that had local elections as key words, and the
Tirana result afterwards, Prime Minister Sali Berisha returned to the
road inaugurations again.

The 15 km long road in the Qafe Koshovica-Cakran, a state budget investment of 298 million ALL was inaugurated this Saturday by Prime Minister Berisha.

More than 20,000 residents of this area will benefit from this road for moving faster and for transporting better their agricultural goods and cattle.

Prime Minister Berisha declared that the construction of this road was part of the investment plan for Fier District, which until now has reached 400 million EUR.

“A proverb of a foreign country says that ‘we develop a road, the road develops us’. The truth is that nothing gives more positive results for a community than investments in roads and schools. There where a road is built, the value of all assets increases. The road is a market, is dignity, civilization. That’s why we have chosen as priority of all priorities the road infrastructure, in order to realize as soon as possible the plan ‘Albania, a developed country’. We have chosen the education system as a priority, as one of two main pillars of ‘Albania, a developed country’. Based in this platform, we have built in the last years 8000 km of roads and are currently building more. The road that we are inaugurating today is one of these segments”, Berisha declared.
