Berisha: Gender equality, extremely significant

Prime Minister Sali Berisha underlined the gender quality and the help
that the Albanian state will give to the Roma and Egyptian community.

The Head of the Government declared that the gender quality is very important. He listed a series of measures that the government will take for promoting it.

“The government and the entire society want to have the dedication to fight for realizing the gender equality between men and women in the Albanian society. In Albania, men and women have the same wage for the same positions, but the distribution of these jobs is not equal”, Berisha declared.

The head of the government declared that his cabinet is committed to contribute in the education, employment and sheltering of the Roma and Egyptian community in Albania.

“The Albanian government is determined to work in the most serious way in order to help the Roma and the Egyptian community in Albania. There is a real contribution in this country for overcoming the century old discriminations. The government will work hard for sheltering, employing and providing education to them. We have negotiated for financing projects that will change the life of Roma and Egyptian community in Albania, as the most neglected groups in the country,” Berisha decared.

During this government meeting will be assigned the new director of Social Business Agency of Micro crediting.
