The voting process for the local elections in Berat is going smoothly, but the citizens have shown a small interest to vote.
According to the authorities, the participation in the last two hours has been 25 to 30%, a lower level than 2007, when the election process was closed with a total participation level of 52%.
In the commune of Kuçova, the participation was 40%, in Skrapar 60% and in the Ura Vajgurore commune, 45 %.
Top-Channel’s correspondent informed that the only registered incident has happened in Skrapar, in the Çepan commune, where the voting process started late, due to the lacking of ballot papers.
Since there is a considerable number of people that will not vote, the process will be closed at 19:00.
