Klea! This is what this 22 year old boy likes to be called today, after
realizing since 9 years of age that he was different. Although the son
of a big family that lives in Tirana, Klea did not hesitate to come out
with his family and friends. In the everyday life, Klea puts on normal
clothes. But on special days he likes to look what he really is, a
transvestite. He has started his sexual life very soon, since when he was 13 years
old, when he understood that life as a woman is what he enjoyed most.
Klea tells that he has had a relation at that age with a person whom he
left free to create his own family.

But Klea knows that he and many other young boys with different sexual preferences are discriminated in Albania.

On the International Day against Homophobia, the “Pink” ambassador in Albania tells that these people are discriminated and often become victims of violence. Studies show that persons of the LGTB community are born as such and their sexual preferences start to appear after 9 years of age and during puberty.
