The report published by Environment Ministry for polluted beach waters
belongs to 2010, because this year there has been no obligatory
monitoring, like every other year.
The Ministry of Environment did not approve the funds that enable the specialists of Public Health Institute for making the necessary measurements for 2011.
According to the agreement between both institutions, the monitoring of beach water quality must be performed during the entire year, in order to inform holiday makers and investors about the risky areas, and it should have started in March. Specialists are waiting the funds, while local Public Health Directories in districts have monitored the coastline, the environment and air pollution.
