The Kosovo analyst Baton Haxhiu said on a live conversation with Top Channel’s news edition that the declaration of Edi Rama, when he spoke about a common president between Albania and Kosovo, for unified foreign and security policies, was taken out of its context.
“Rama spoke for 10 minutes, and used his imagination to say how relations between Kosovo and Albania should be in the next decade”, Haxhiu said.
For Haxhiu, the reactions are mostly related to political reasons.
“The reaction is political, with the purpose to oppose Rama for that sentence, but not for the entire speech. They took just one sentence for the last minute, by avoiding the other 10 minutes in which Rama spoke about dialogue, the region and relations between Serbia and Kosovo”, he added.
