Basha: Transparence, no manipulation

The candidate of Alliance for the Citizen, Lulzim Basha, declared in a
press release that there has been no manipulation in this electoral
process, and he considered his opponent’s declarations as ridiculous.
According to Basha, cannibalism is not counting miscast ballots, but excluding them from the process, because the voice of every citizen must be heard by counting each vote.
“We are witnesses that there have been no manipulations. Justice is on my side, but constitutional institutions are the ones to give the verdict. My opponent does not admit that he simply is against the process of counting each ballot. Instead, he has started a campaign for throwing mud at the process, by making threats and pressures towards institutions”, Basha declared.
According to him, democracy tests its power when the result is very narrow, and this is achieved by respecting every ballot.
