The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, declared that there is evidence that the Mayor of Durres, Vangjush Dako, has cooperated with criminal groups.
Basha said that Dako is aksing Durres criminal gangs to buy votes for him, and that intelligence services have caught him promising millions of Euros in contracts.
“This is under investigation by the Prosecution of Serious Crimes. Doko and his mentor Edi Rama know this, this is why they are interfering to remove the prosecutor who was investigating this criminal affair, and also the Secret Service Director, Vishi Ajazi Lika”, Basha said.
Basha appealed the Prosecutor General to tell citizens if the transfer of Prosecutor Anton Martini was made for this reason or not.
