Balla meets Romanian PM: Albania deserves EU accession negotiations

The head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, attended the regional meeting in Bucharest named “Western Balkans EU path”, an initiative of the Romanian PM, Viorica Dăncilă.

Accompanied by other Albanian MPs, Balla met with the PM and the Speaker of the Romanian Parliament, Marcel Ciolacu.

Balla wrote on Facebook that the political relations between Albania and Romania can be considered in their best moments and that this assessment is attributed to the high level of political dialogue.

According to Balla, both countries share the same opinion, that regional cooperation is an important pillar int heir foreign policy, with a direct impact on the internal prosperity of each country.

“Romania, as an EU member, and Albania, as an EU candidate country, consider the integration of all Western Balkan countries in the EU as something essential for the region”, Balla declared.
