The Socialist Party Parliamentary Group leader, Taulant Balla, said on Top Channel’s “Top Talk” that the opposition is making appeals for social conflict.

When asked if there could be a second 1997 in Albania, Balla said that the opposition must understand their parliamentary terms as a responsibility that should be used for reinforcing dialogue.

“The Parliament is the institution that belongs to the opposition. Their absence is in their disfavor. I think that the new session will have them active in Parliament”, Balla said.

As for President, who is refusing to decree PM Rama’s Foreign Minister, Balla said that rather than playing the role of national unification, Meta is playing the role of the opposition leader.
