After the meeting, the Prime Minister’s press office confirmed that Hillary Clinton had answered positively to the repeated request and promised Berisha that she will be in Albania for the 100th anniversary of independence. The official notification doesn’t give much details about the conversation held between the politicians, which lasted longer than the agenda. Mrs. Clinton also guaranteed the Albanian Prime Minister that the US will keep supporting Albania in its EU integration process and in all other fields of mutual cooperation.

The official notification says that in this meeting was also present the US Ambassador to Tirana, Alexander Arvizu. Both politicians considered as excellent the relations between the two countries and discussed the options for deepening cooperation in all areas.
