Gentian Zyberi is elected member of the International Convention for Civilian and Political Rights at the UN.
Zyberi received votes from 90 countries, making Albania represented in this organism for the first time since its admission in 1992.
The Albanian Foreign Minister, Ditmir Bushati, announced the news through his Twitter profile.
This is an achievement for the Albanian diplomacy, since Albania was heading the list with most votes, leaving behind countries such as Russia and Netherlands.
