Ambulant food poisoning in Elbasan

The temperature increase in Elbasan has also increased the number food
poisoning patients in the hospital. Within a week, 20 people received
medical treatment by the city hospital.
According to the Emergency Room Chief, Halit Hasa, the main reasons that cause these problems are high temperatures and salesmen negligence for guarding food products in proper hygienic conditions.
Hasa clarifies that most of the patients needed only the first aid, while others were hospitalized at the infective pavilion, due to many complications.
The main sources are food and drinking water, which doctors recommend to boil before use.
