Very soon, Albtelecom and Eagle Mobile will merge in one single company.
The CEO Orhan Coskun explained in an interview for Top Channel the
advantages of this merge.

“On one hand we have the static phone line, and on the other hand we have the mobile communication, both of them offering voice communication services. We want to merge this services in one single company, although there is no connection with the technology that is used. This is a change that was asked by our users. The companies offer static and mobile communication. This is what the clients want, and we will try to achieve it. Our goal is to offer a qualitative service, to give it more freedom”, Coskun declared.

Albtelecom leaders say that since 2007, the company has invested more than 150 million EUR in Albania by modernizing the communication market in the country and by increasing the services.

“The total length of optic fibers in Albania was only 370 km when we took Albtelecom, and now there are 1500 km, while work is still under progress for making it longer. We have built a system of protected optic fibers, which protect the client from any problem. Our investments that started in 2007 have increased internet speed by eight times, and prices have decreased significantly. Our goal is to have a company that is not led by technology, but by the client’s demand, who will be able to find all services under the same roof. The client’s satisfaction is our principle, in order to offer them the fastest and more qualitative service”, Coskun declared.

The company is planning to install multimedia phones in public places, which will offer internet, photocopies and other services besides the classic ones.
