150 Chinese learning students in the Albanian University of Foreign Languages are learning from Chinese teachers.
The Chinese embassy is not only paying the teachers, but also offering all necessary texts for their language.
“I am convinced that they will learn very well this language that is necessary for our relations, for the Albanian social and economic development. The Chinese embassy has donated precious books and DVD-s that help learning the Chinese language”, says the Head of the Albanian University, Dhori Kule.
How important is Chinese language and is there a job market for these young people after finishing school? Imports from China have grown in the recent years, spurring several businesses. This brings the necessity for Chinese-Albanian translators.
The embassy has also offered scholarships for best students.
