Albanian language school texts for the Diaspora

Minister Ditmir Bushati, who is attending the UN Assembly in the USA, met with a group of teachers, students and parents in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

Bushati said that the support of the Albanian government will continue, since this is an obligation to help Albanian citizens who work for preserving the Albanian language and identity.

“We are working to digitalize school books so that its distribution and approach will be quicker in every country of the world”, Bushati said.

He thanked the teachers of the Diaspora who keep working hard, despite difficult conditions, to keep the Albanian language alive.

During this meeting, Qemal Zyla, who has been running three Albanian schools for the past 10 years, considers these books a great help that resolves an acute issue for them.
