There are 22 gender-balanced governments in the world, 14 of which have less than half of their ministries led by women.

Among them is the Albanian government, which has eight female ministers out of 15 in total, taking the difference to 53.3%.

This lists the Albanian government after Spain, with 62.5% female ministers; Finland, with 61.1%, Nicaragua, 58.8%, and Sweden, 54.5%.

However, according to the UN, females are still underrepresented in a global scale as regards political leadership.
