The American-Albanian community in New York has sent a letter to all Albanian and Kosovo authorities to not allow the correction of the Kosovo borders.
The open letter says that the independence of Kosovo is a monumental achievement of the Albanian people, and they should stay loyal to the spirit and courage that turned this into reality.
“Every kilometer of Kosovo’s border was paid with blood. This is why we are against any negotiation that reduces its territory. There is no land to give away, only to take”, the letter underlines.
One of the requests is that of organizing an international conference of Albanian leaders in New York, within 2019, for drafting an action plan based on a national agenda that will also be discussed in the next Diaspora meeting that will be held in Kosovo.
