During his visit in Southern Albania, the Albanian President, Bamir Topi, accompanied by the First Lady Teuta
Topi, had a special meeting with
the President of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga, who is visiting Vlore during
her vacations.
The head of the Albanian state praised the relations between the two countries, which are even more consolidated.
Noting Kosovo’s role in terms of peace and long-term stability in the Balkan region after the independence, President Topi emphasized that the unstoppable process of new independence recognitions is marking new achievements each day.
On her behalf, the President of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga expressed her gratitude and noted that Kosovo is turning each day more into a factor of cooperation, peace and stability for the common integration of the region.
During this meeting, both homologues discussed about the political and economical cooperation between Albania and Kosovo.
