Albanian and Kosovo Diaspora Ministers met with Calabria Arberesh Albanians

The Albanian Minister of State for the Diaspora, Pandeli Majko, accompanied by his Kosovo counterpart, Dardan Gashi, and the Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Fatmir Limaj, are attending a visit in Calabria, meeting with the community of Arberesh Albanians.
The Albanian politicians met with leaders of the Arberesh communities in Cosanza, Falkunara, Frasnita, Saint Sofia, and with members of the Cultural Institute of Calabria Arberesh, where they discussed further cooperation and joint cultural initiatives.
Minister Majko proposed signing a cooperation memorandum between both Ministers of the Diaspora and the Arberesh Institution, and appointing a date at the Parliaments of Albania and Kosovo, dedicated to the Arberesh communit, which would involve meeting with their leaders.
The Minister asked for a better coordination and more exchange of summer school students.
