Albania and Greece are two neighboring countries with many things to resolve, but while politics is delaying the agreements for the maritime border and the war law, a bilateral project is underway for building a railway that will connect both countries through the Follorina-Kristalopigi-Pogradec line.
This major investment has been one of the discussions in the meeting that was held yesterday in Kostur.
According to “Protothema”, there will be a later alternative at lower cost for the project that is funded by the Interreg-IPA-CBS Greece-Albania.
The Greek Minister of infrastructure, Thanos Bourdas, underlined the importance of this project, which will be part of the Trans-European network.
