After students’ protest, Tirana municipality rebuilt 11 dorms in student campuses

Since the protest held by the students, the municipality of Tirana has started rebuilding several dormitory buildings at campuses.
“It is the 11th building that we are rebuilding. It may seem easy, but we wouldn’t be here without the love and solidarity of all companies. They don’t have obligations, they pay taxes like everyone else, and even higher taxes than before. And yet, many of these construction companies have offered to help and show their solidrity”, Veliaj said.
Another request of the students was the “Student’s Card”, which should be done by the universities, but since they failed, it will be done by the Municipality.
