A feasibility study is undergoing for the Albania-Greece railway

The Minister of Industry and Infrastructure, Damian Gjiknuri, declared that they have already started the feasibility studies for the railway that will connect Albania to Greece.

Greek media reported one day ago that the railway will go through the Follorina-Kristalopigi-Pogradec line.

“We are conducting a feasibility study with Greece and Macedonia”, Gjiknuri said in a meeting with the Commission of Economy.

The Secretary of the Greek Ministry for Infrastructure and Transportation, Thanos Bourdas, underlined the importance of this project, which is part of the Trans-European plan.
