870 trees were planted in Farka, as part of the Orbital Forest. The park has turned now into a recreational place for all ages.
The purpose of the Tirana Municipality is to add 100,000 trees to the capital of Albania within the season. Saying that this is the best gift for Tirana, the Mayor invited citizens to join the coalition.
“The best gift that we can give to Tirana for the holidays are these 870 trees that we just planted. We will continue with others. If we keep this pace, we will reach our record of 100,000 trees for this season”, Veliaj said.
They Mayor also asked citizens and transportation companies to orient their vehicles towards environment-friendly ones, reducing this way the air pollution.
