A strong earthquake have been felt in several cities in Albania, mainly in the northeastern part of the country, such as Buliqizë, Burrel, but also in Lezha, Tirana and Durrës, while slight tremors are reported to have been felt in the city of Berat.
The 5.1 magnitude earthquake, with the center being 10 km east of Burrel, 38 km northeast of Tirana, with a depth of 24 km.
Strong tremors of the earthquake have also been felt in Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia and even Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to EMSC, European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.
Until now, no material damage has been reported.
