40 police officers fail to receive “credibility” certificates

The Police Vetting started before January, when it will become official.
The Directory for Procuring Classified Information is not issuing credibility certificates for at least 40 officers of various levels, according to Top Channel sources, as regards access to classified and top classified documents.
For this reason, sources say that there have been transfers among police ranks, with the Peshkopia Chief of Police, the Diber Border Control, Gjirokaster Traffic Police, Saranda Chief of Police and several officers in 12 city districts.
There has been no official announcement from the police for these transfers, but sources say that some of the officers may have moved to duties that do not require them to have those certifications.
