The construction work for the Arber Road, which was given to a PPP concession, is progressing according to the plan.
This is the fifth tunnel, situated at the 30th kilometer, and it is now completely built by the Gjoka Construction, the concessionary company. This is the most important artwork of this project.
The work is undergoing the last element that will connect the 316 meters long and 152 meters high bridge.
But when will the Arber Road be completed, connecting Albania’s Northeastern areas with the capital?
The completion term on the contract is 44 months, and so far has been completed only 40% of the total construction. The total cost of the 70-kilometer road will be 240 million Euros.
