3D Tirana

The project of the three dimensions: “Tirana, My City”, “Tirana the Capital”, and “Tirana regional main center”, was presented at the center of the city by Edi Rama, opposition leader and candidate for Mayor of the Albanian capital.

The strategic plan for the capital until 2020 was another part of the presentation.

This plan contains public services, 17 new schools and kindergartens, including the possibilities of extending and improving the 4 main hospitals with the construction of 15 clinics and one municipality hospital.

Mr. Rama also launched the project for the new University Campus planned in Tufina, discussing also the problems of education.

“While I was following the presentation, an expression of the Education Minister came to my mind, when he said “If only Tirana was like Kamza”. This is the vision of those who govern Albania today. Our way is the way of following a dream, planning it by looking beyond the limits that the present imposes us today”, Rama declared.

Rama invited the citizens to vote and not get discouraged, as he said, by falling victim of the pressures.

“These elections are too important for any citizen to not participate, to fall victim of the pressure. This pressure comes from those who want to reduce the participation of that mass that needs to liberate itself by the claws of a government that is asphyxiating democracy”, Rama declared.

Rama met today citizens of different age-groups at the Kombinat area. Rama said that for continuing the transformation of Kombinat and Albania, every citizen of this neighborhood should participate on May 8th elections.
