12th edition of “Giffoni Albania” started with best film selections

Giffoni Albania started its 12th edition. This is the last edition that comes in the classic format. The project “Towards Giffoni 2020”will give it a new image.
Namik Ajazi, Director of Giffoni Albania, said that this change comes to go beyond the selection of the jury and the best movies of Giffoni Albania, but to also clarify and better identify those who will be tomorrow part of the film industry. “Also the ones who produce video games and prepare movies”, he said.
The purpose is to employ young Albanians in the movie industry. Besides this, Giffoni Albania has another novelty this year.
“For the first time, besides foreign films, there will be three Albanian ones. This will confront the absence of Albanian production towards the foreign ones. We will see how the Albanian public will evaluate these two approaches since they are the most democratic and the biggest jury”, Ajazi declared.
