100 cypress trees were planted this Sunday at the Tirana Outer Ring Road.
The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, joined the planting operation and said that there’s nothing more beautiful than decorating Tirana with trees.
“I am sure that we will achieve the record-breaking goal of planting 100,000 trees throughout Tirana. The contribution we are seeing today has not come from billionaires or rich heirs, but from this businessman, who has decided to share his success in business. By the end of this season we will have marked the entire segment that is called Orbital Forest”, he declared.
“We have appealed citizens of Tirana to plant a tree for every happy moment they want to commemorate, for every birthday or special ceremony, so that you can leave your marks on the city”, Veliaj declared.
